The Venturi vacuum system is particularly suitable in all hospital applications where vacuum values of up to -850mBar are needed.  The body is chromium plated to eliminate corrosion and the AV1000 model also features a rapid ON-OFF button switch.  Both the AV500 and AV1000 models incorporate a high efficiency silencer to improve user comfort and a one-way valve to protect the patient from unexpected back pressures that could be possible should the unit malfunction.
