Water manometers make it possible to achieve fine adjustments of vacuum suction in delicate applications, such as gastric and thoracic drainage. Flow-Meter™ manometers have an upper body made of anodised aluminium, complete with a needle valve to adjust the degree of suction on a graduated scale up to either 40cm or 70cm. All nipples are of chromium plated brass and the external and internal manometer tubes are of virtually indestructible polycarbonate.
The VD series of manometers have a double tube permitting fine adjustment to a maximum value of 5cm.
