The system is designed for the collection of suction of suctioned organic fluids, and is available in two versions.
The canister is a single-use rigid canister and lid with hermetically sealed connectors that link with the suction line from the patient.  An anti-reflux hydrophobic and antibacterial filter protects the equipment and the vacuum pump.  The filter also acts as an overflow valve, deactivating the vacuum pump when the canister is full.
