| Suction Therapy | Our top quality suction therapy range provides maximum reliability at cost-effective prices. The range includes: All oxygen therapy equipment conforms to all UK standards as well as the requirements of the 93/42/CEE European Directive. |
EasyVac® Vacuum Regulator | The EasyVac® range of vacuum regulators are available for all medical suction applications in hospitals and nursing homes. Three models are available the EasyVac® 250 for suction up to 50 l/min at -220mBar, EasyVac® 600 for suction of up to 72 l/min at -550mBar, and EasyVac® 1000 for suction of up to 80 l/min at -950mBar. It is constructed of rugged technopolymer body and standard vacuum supply and outlet connections. Each EasyVac® regulator has a quickly operated ON-0FF push button, a suction adjustment knob and a vacuum control gauge. The EasyVac® vacuum regulators, renowned for their safety and reliability, can be used for direct or indirect connection to collection jars for suction liquids, or directly to the EasySafe® safety jar, by using the appropriate connection. EasySafe® Safety Jar | The EasySafe® safety jar is deisgned for use with the EasyVac® vacuum regulator. They are used to protect the equipment and plant upstream, should the overflow valve in the main container not be working properly. It is made of rugged and reliable technopolymer, and they are autoclavable (recommended cycle 134°C, 18 min) and have an overflow float valve and a housing designed to fit an antibacterial filter, to ensure complete protection of the suction system against contamination. The vacuum hose connector and quick release connection make the EasySafe® simple and efficient to set up and safe and easy to remove from the regulator. |
REUSABLE COLLECTION JARS | MAK small volume collection jars are designed for fluid suction applications where suctioned organic fluids are collected in 'high flow, high vacuum' conditions. They are available in 300ml and 500ml versions, and have a standard lid or a lid designed to hold an antibacterial filter. MAK collection jars have a floating mechanical overflow valve and threaded inlet and outlet connections. They are autoclavable (121°C, 15 mins), and the range of different connectors and fittings available make it possible to set up any connection needed between the jars, the suction line and the patient. | | MAK large volume collection jars are also designed for 'high flow, high vacuum' applications, the 1 litre capacity is supplied with a screw lid, the 2 litre capacity is available with either a screw lid or pressure lid, and the large 4 litre capacity is supplied with a pressure lid only. All MAK jars are made in polycarbonate and are autoclavable (121°C, 15 mins) and the range of connectors and fittings make it possible to set up any connection needed between the jars, the suction line and the patient. |
DISPOSABLE CONTAINERS | FLOVAC® System The system is designed for the collection of suction of suctioned organic fluids, and is available in two versions. The liner system consists of a rigid container and a single-use collection system consisting of a bag that goes into the container and is hermetically sealed to a lid that fits on to it. The canister is a single-use rigid canister and lid with hermetically sealed connectors that link with the suction line from the patient. An anti-reflux hydrophobic and antibacterial filter protects the equipment and the vacuum pump. The filter also acts as an overflow valve, deactivating the vacuum pump when the canister is full. More information on the FLOVAC® System is available as a PDF by clicking this link... | MONOKIT® Disposable Containers The MONOKIT® containers are designed for the collection of suctioned organic fluids in 'high flow, high vacuum' applications. They consist of an outer rigid re-usable jar with a disposable flexible container inside the jar. The disposable inner container is a soft liner bag which is hermetically welded to the lid, and the lid has ports allowing connection to the suction line and patient. A mechanical overflow valve, or an antibacterial and hydrophobic shut-off filter, protect the suction equipment and vacuum plant. Two or more MONOKIT® jars can be connected in tandem to increase collection capacity. |
VA - VD TYPE WATER MANOMETERS | Water manometers make it possible to achieve fine adjustments of vacuum suction in delicate applications, such as gastric and thoracic drainage. Flow-Meter™ manometers have an upper body made of anodised aluminium, complete with a needle valve to adjust the degree of suction on a graduated scale up to either 40cm or 70cm. All nipples are of chromium plated brass and the external and internal manometer tubes are of virtually indestructible polycarbonate. The VD series of manometers have a double tube permitting fine adjustment to a maximum value of 5cm. |
VENTURI SUCTION UNITS | The Venturi vacuum system is particularly suitable in all hospital applications where vacuum values of up to -850mBar are needed. The body is chromium plated to eliminate corrosion and the AV1000 model also features a rapid ON-OFF button switch. Both the AV500 and AV1000 models incorporate a high efficiency silencer to improve user comfort and a one-way valve to protect the patient from unexpected back pressures that could be possible should the unit malfunction. |
ACCESSORIES | A wide range of suction therapy accessories are available for the re-usable and disposable ranges including jar support rings, support baskets for attachment to the wall, floor baskets, trolleys and the Flow-Meter™ suction trolley which is used to support up to four collection jars at a time. |
