Regulators

The Flow-Meter™ range of pressure regulators provides for most applications that arise in hospitals, nursing homes, ambulances and field hospitals.

All oxygen therapy equipment conforms to all UK standards as well as the requirements of the 93/42/CEE European Directive.

FM Type Pressure Regulator

The FM type pressure regulators are designed for direct fitting on to standard medical gas cylinders.  They have a gauge to indicate the amount of gas present in the cylinder and, where required, and output pressure gauge.  Appropriate inlet connections are available for all commonly used medical gases, and the pressure regulator can be supplied with pre-set calibration of the outlet pressure or with adjustable calibration.

The maximum inlet pressure is 200 bar.  The body is made of chromium-plated brass to minimise the risk of corrosion and give maximum reliability and impact resistance. A pre-calibrated over pressure safety valve is included to protect against any malfunction of the system.

MU Type Pressure Regulator

The MU type pressure regulators are sturdily manufactured in chromium-plated brass and have an inlet connection for either oxygen or air to mount directly on to the cylinder.  The maximum inlet pressure is 200 bar and the outlet connection is designed for use witha  6.5mm outlet tube.  There is a pre-set-calibration on the outlet connection so that the cylinder contents are constantly monitored.

EASYCARE®

The EasyCare® pressure regulator is suitable for direct mounting on gas cylinders.  They are compact, light and have an integral flowmeter with calibrated orifices and can be supplied with an integral terminal unit.  These devices are particularly suitable for oxygen therapy and are manufactured with inlet connections for different gases and an outlet connection suitable for different applications.

They are available with a pre-set calibration of pressures and with a single control gauge to check the cylinder content.  Constructed of chromium-platedbrass and aluminium made of shockproof technopolymer, each regulator is equipped with a preset safety valve.  The compact assembly and precise technical deesign allow the supply of medical gases with great accuracy even in the most difficult conditions such as emergency mobile units. 

MERCURY®

The Mercury® pressure regulator has an integral cylinder valve and are suitable for direct mounting on to oxygen cylinders using the threaded connector.  They have a refilling valve appropriate to UK and EU Standards, and ergonomic knob which allows the user to quickly open and close the cylinder flow, and a clear indication about the status of the system (ON-OFF).

These devices are made with double stage pre-set output pressure, and a control gauge to indicate the pressure in the cylinder.
